Kristal and I recently attended a charity event at the Joyeux Home Decor store (which was recently opened) in Olmos Park. The event was to raise funds for Olvia the Coker Spaniel’s campaign for El Rey Fido. El Rey Fido helps fund the Humane Society’s no-kill shelter in San Antonio. The event was called Shop For a Cause. Proceeds gathered by various vendors were given to the cause. The event was held in interior designer Dy Lynne’s new store, Joyeux. Her furnishings and products were for sale for the event as well as other vendors’ booths. Cassandra Collections was selling her jewelry, One Hope Wine was selling wine, and Jason Glast Luxury also sponsored the event. Not to mention, one of Jason’s realtors’, Elizabeth Priest, dog Olivia was “hosting” the event for El Rey Fido.
