We’re getting to that time of year when the very early days of spring are beginning to peek through the lingering winter days.
The perfect time to start your spring garden!
Yesterday we had so much fun building our garden. We purchased raised beds from Wayfair and we found the cutest color as well. This was fun activity to do with the kids.
We then headed over to Lowes and purchased cilantro, sweet basil, tomatoes, strawberries & lots of peppers.
What’s so cool about Lowes is that they have the plants ready to go so you are not starting with just a pack of seeds. We decided to go with an organic soil called Harvest Organic Garden Soil.
Here are some tips for starting your garden
1. Pick the perfect location in your yard.
2. Choose and start with GREAT soil.
3. Rule of thumb: Follow the sun
4. Stay close to water.
5. Feed plants regularly, they get hungry too.
Keep in mind, I am in no means a professional at gardening. My family and I just started it as a fun project and are so excited to see how it all turns out. Stay tuned.
