Christmas is a time of selflessly giving back and showing appreciation for those held dear in your life. We were so very excited to recently host our Charity Christmas Celebration on Dec. 8th to share our love with family, friends, partners and clients of CKC and showcase a bit of our work in 2016. The event was also a major opportunity to work with The Adopt-A-Family program to provide a very special Christmas for The Vargas Family – Parris and her 3 kids, Ezekiel (4 years old), Leilani (5 years old), and Joel (10 years old). They have been in crisis for 3 months – homeless living in a motel. Parris was in financial need to provide a memorable Christmas for the kids. Through the event, we were able to raise over $2,000 to help provide for their Christmas!
We’re so very appreciative of everyone who came out not only in celebrating but for helping us make Christmas such a memorable day for The Vargas Family. I didn’t even get to mention how enjoyable the silent auction was and just how amazing the food and drinks were! Take a look at a few of our favorite photos from the event below!
